Configure Metamask
This widely used digital wallet allows you to manage your cryptocurrencies and tokens securely, while also providing you with access to a wide range of DeFi services. In this step-by-step guide, we will show you how to create a walletMetamask, add the Greed Is Good token (BEP20), and then how to buy and sell Greed Is Good.
Step 1: Install the Metamask Extension
To get started, you need to install the extensionMetamask in your browser.Metamask is compatible with major browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Brave. Visit the official website ofMetamask (https://metamask.io/) and follow the installation instructions for your preferred browser.
Step 2: Configure the Wallet
After installing the extension, open it and follow the instructions to create a new wallet. Make sure you create a strong and secure password to protect access to your wallet. Keep the recovery phrase carefully, as it is the only way to recover your wallet if you lose your password.
Step 3: Add Binance Smart Chain (BSC)
To purchase Greed Is Good(BEP20) tokens, you need to add Binance Smart Chain to your Metamask wallet. In Metamask, go to the "Settings" page and click on "Networks". Click "Add Network" and fill in the following details:
- Network Name: Binance Smart Chain
- New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
- Coin ID: 56
- Currency Symbol: BNB
- Chain Lock: 56
Click "Save" to add Binance Smart Chain to your wallet.
Step 4: Add the Greed Is Good Token
Now that the Binance Smart Chain is set up, it's time to add the Greed Is Good token to your Metamask wallet. Click "Add Assets" and then select "Custom Tokens". Enter the Greed Is Good token contract address (0xF05b06ecE898cbF07bD9c9a370d1c30204112Ca4), the GIG token symbol, and the number to 18 decimal places. Metamask will then show your balance of that token in your wallet.
Step 5: Buy the Greed Is Good Token
To purchase the Greed Is Good token, when it is available, you can use an exchange that supports Binance Smart Chain, such as Binance or PancakeSwap. Send BNB to your Metamask wallet on Binance Smart Chain and then use that BNB to purchase the token on the exchange, not yet available during pre-sale. During the pre-sale, the purchase will be made on the pre-sale page
Step 6: Sell the Greed Is Good Token (When available)
If you want to sell the Greed Is Good token, follow the reverse process. Go to an exchange that supports Binance Smart Chain, like PancakeSwap, and connect your Metamask wallet. Then select the GIG token and follow the instructions to create a sell order. Make sure you have enough BNB in your wallet to pay transaction fees.
Configure Trust Wallet
In this guide, we will explore how to create a Trust wallet to include a Greed Is Good (BEP-20) token and then show you how to buy and sell that token.
Step 1: Install Trust Wallet
The first thing you need to do is download and install Trust Wallet on your mobile device. Trust Wallet is available for both Android and iOS devices and is one of the most secure and popular wallets for storing Greed Is Good tokens.
Step 2: Set up the Trust Wallet
After installation, open the app and follow the instructions to set up your wallet. This typically involves creating a strong password and making a backup copy of your recovery phrase. Make sure you store this phrase in a safe place and never share it with anyone.
Step 3: Add the Greed Is Good Token
